Evaluating your week and setting a plan for next week

Evaluate Your Week

For the last quarter I have shown you a way to evaluate your weeks, this week I am showing you a new way to evaluate your week and set a plan for next week all in one plan. This article will step you through the process. Although you will be familiar with it if you have been evaluating your life areas in the last few weeks.

Evaluate this past week.

  • What did you achieve this week?
  • How do you feel about what you achieved this week?
  • What actions did you take this week?
  • What are the consequences of the action you took?
  • What will you do differently?
  • What won’t you do again?
  • What are you carrying over to next week?

Reflect on what you would like to achieve in the next week.

Now you will think about all the things that you would like to accomplish in the next week. This will help you with your plan for the next quarter.

  • What do you want to focus on next week?
  • What are your thoughts and feelings about the focus for next week?
  • What action steps do you have next week?
  • What appointments do you have next week?
  • Do you have any deadlines next week?
  • What are the consequences of these new actions?
  • What does success look like for you next week?
  • What resources do you already have?
  • What resources do you need?
  • What are your first three action steps?

Remember to add the action steps to your diary or planner, and track your actions in the weekly tracking. And most importantly, start taking action.
